Rent a TENS unit

We offer the possibility to rent a TENS-machine through us that is specially designed for use during pregnancy and childbirth. TENS stands for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, which describes the electrical impulses that are transmitted through electrodes attached to the skin. It is an effective natural pain relief method that can often provide good pain relief that can be used both during pregnancy and during childbirth.

It works by sending electrical impulses to the nerves, diverting the pain impulses and stimulating endorphin release.

Our TENS-machines are of the brand and variety Cefar femina. It has a hand switch that allows you to have one level of impulse during a contraction and one in between.

We recommend picking up your order 2 weeks before the due date. Pickup can be arranged in Bromma or at Odenplan, or by mutual agreement.

Price: 1,000 SEK for four weeks. After that, 200 SEK per week or part thereof.

We recommend picking up the item about two weeks before the due date.

The loan of a TENS unit is included in the doula package for all our clients.

Payment is made via an invoice sent after the unit is returned. Payment terms are 30 days.
